Welcome!

Welcome to the website of the CEPICA Research Group at Brigham Young University.

CEPICA is our acronym for "Community-based Evaluation of Psychosocial Interventions with Children and Adolescents" (the acronym saves us quite a bit of time and breath).

Our work is focused on evaluating mental health treatment outcomes of children and adolescents served in traditional clinical practice settings. More specifically, our research has three long-term objectives:
  1. Improve treatment outcomes of children and adolescents served in community-based mental health settings.
  2. Provide mental health practitioners with tools to enhance clinical decision-making.
  3. Help bridge the gap between lab-based mental health research and "real-world" clinical practice.
The CEPICA Research Group is directed by Dr. Jared S. Warren through the Department of Psychology and the Clinical Psychology Program at Brigham Young University.
